About Rex Chambers
I'm a retired police officer after 25 years of service with the Cullman, Alabama Police Dept. I grew up fishing the deep clear waters of Lewis Smith Lake which is known nationally for its Spotted Bass population. Fishing tournaments on Smith Lake since my teenage years made deep clear water finesse techniques a must learn. In 1990 Guntersville Lake on the Tennessee River came calling with many tournament opportunities and I ventured away from the deep waters of Smith Lake and learned every technique available in order to fish the shallow water grass lake and its huge largemouth opportunities.

I am a USCG Licensed Boat Captain and pride myself on teaching different techniques to anglers both young and old from all walks of life. Upon booking a trip with me, you can expect to spend the day in a new Phoenix bass boat powered by a 250hp Mercury Marine outboard. A trip will consist of using Dobyns Rods, BullShad Swimbaits and V&M Baits soft plastics and jigs.

Lewis Smith Lake and Guntersville are considered home waters while Pickwick, Wilson and Wheeler Lakes stay on my radar due to the large amount of Smallmouth Bass each have to offer. My tournament schedule includes both the North and South Divisions of the Alabama Bass Trail, the Bassmaster Southern Opens and many local events that come to any of the north Alabama Lakes.
